I am excited to begin accepting commissions for small portraits! Learn how to commission an original keepsake.

These commissions are limited by size and material. Please see the examples below for an idea of what I am offering.

Send me a message here to get the conversation started. Be prepared with the reference photo/s you have in mind. It is often helpful to send 2 or 3 options to see which will work best as a painting. We will work together to discuss any specifics you envision (general color scheme, simple background ideas, changes in composition or placement, etc.) along with the right size for your painting.

You will be emailed an invoice which will ask for a non-refundable 50% deposit. Once that is received, the work will begin!

When the painting is complete or near completion, I will email you a final image for you to approve. At that time I will make any changes within reason.

Once approved and I receive the remaining balance plus the cost of shipping, your piece will be signed, varnished, and shipped out in secure packaging for you and your family to enjoy for a lifetime!

Materials

Pencil, watercolor and/or gouache on a flat Aquabord* panel

6"x6" or 6"x8" with one figure: $175 + shipping

8"x8" or 8"x10" with one figure: $220 + shipping

with two figures: $250 + shipping

These prices are for a painting flat hard panel. Add $15 each for a cradled panel, which hangs beautifully as is - no need for a frame. The options offered are intentionally simplified as a starting point, but feel free to ask about other options for additional sizes and number of figures. Shipping is calculated separately based on location.

Please note:

*Aquabord is a hard panel that beautifully retains vibrant colors, requires no glass, and can be varnished for protection and longevity.

These generally have a 2-3 week turnaround from when I begin to when it is shipped, unless otherwise communicated. I am currently accepting 1-2 commissions per month. I will be sure to communicate my availability and try my best to work within your desired timeline.
