About the Artist

I am a fine artist based in beautiful eastern PA and it is an honor to share my art with you!

I believe that creativity and the act of creating or bringing things into existence is vital to a dying world. That anything that brings life has eternal value -- that there is truth to what Thomas Merton once said: "Tulips are not important, they are essential."

My work is usually woven with something ethereal, nostalgic and feminine. My main objective when I create is to find a state of rest in each abstract or figurative piece. I work and rework each surface until I've achieved a subtle harmony of color, content and atmosphere. Then, I feel my work has purpose.

I love the intimate quality of painting and drawing, that is ever at risk of being snuffed out in our technological world. It is important to me to hold onto those things which make us human. We need that vulnerability to see clearly.

I pray these pieces give you even greater vision as you experience this life, bring stillness to your ever-moving world and remind you of something eternal.
